I've not met anybody else that's read it, as much as I've recommended it. The ending sat when me for a while.
Interesting to note that Charles Darwin came to Port Jackson (Sydney) and apparently had an interesting time there. From memory, he also went to Tasmania. I must check that out in more detail.
Yes, I actually picked up a copy of Darwin’s Voyages on the Beagle which features the maps. Could be something you expand upon in your series.
